Students from Lake Mary High School in Lake Mary were able to visit the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg this past spring. Variety donated $1,300 to help sponsor the field trip for the Humanities and Art History classes and they were able to rent a bus to travel to the museum with their teacher Ms. Michele Dershimer.
According to Ms. Dershimer, "We had an incredible day exploring surrealist art and a special impressionist exhibit as well! The students' curriculum was enriched by seeing the styles of art we study and their enthusiasm as well as understanding of the various artists were evident in their reactions, bother overtly and verbally! Again, thank you VARIETY OF FLORIDA for your generous contribution!!"
