VARIETY DONATES LEARING IPADS TO KIDS AT JOSEPH STILWELL MILITARY ACADEMY

JANURAY 2025

The Joseph Stilwell Military Academy offers programs that teaches learning strategies for the physically impaired children. Variety has donated a few learning Ipads equipped with the Freeform app which helps the children write notes and take pictures. The app also converts assignments into PDFs for them. Students with fine motor skills find the Ipad's stylus pen easier to use and have been able to complete their assignments much faster with shortcuts and with it's touchscreen.

The teachers have noticed a better engagement in class lessons when students are using the Ipads and they feel they can finally keep up with the rest of the class.

Kali Ramos of the School says "All the students are thanksful and a few of them wanted me to take a picture with their "Thank Yous" on the Freeform app Ipads"
